1095th -- Bringing Heaven To Earth

We should always be quick to show our gratitude and appreciation to those
who help to make our life just a little bit better. So many people in
this world have thankless jobs, but still they do their jobs to the best
of their abilities without waiting for or expecting any thanks from those
whom they are serving. Knowing that there are so many people around us
who do their jobs with excellence should make us be thankful for their
service and for all that they do to make our life better and easier and we
should use every opportunity that we have to let them know how thankful we
are for all that they do for us. No matter how large or how small their
contribution may be, we should always let them know that we appreciate what
they are doing and that our life is better because of them.

Every person deserves to know that their work is not in vain and that what
they do really does make a difference. It may be your postal worker, the
janitor at your work or school, the waitress at your favorite restaurant,
the teacher in your school, the co-worker that you've known for years, the
police officers who works tirelessly to keep us safe, the firemen who are
on alert days on end to respond quickly to an emergency, the doctor or
nurse who help when you're sick, the city employees who do their jobs with
excellence and the list can go on and on with the people whom you can think
of. We should also be quick to thank those closest to us. We should thank
our parents, our spouses and our children for all that they do for us.
The meals they prepare, the cloths they keep clean, the home they tend to,
the support they give us and the love and encouragement they show us
deserves our attention, appreciation and gratitude.

Make it your mission to give thanks to those who make your life better.
You may not say it often, but make it a point to say it now. Seek out
that one and let them know that you appreciate what they do for you. Lift
them up and let them know that they really do make a difference in your
life and that your life is better because of them. People need affirmation
and when they are shown the recognition they deserve, their spirits will
be lifted up. Let us be spirit lifters and acknowledge those who do so
much to make our life so much better.

I hope this message inspires and challenges your heart to do all that you
can to show your appreciation and gratitude towards those who make your
life so much better.

BRINGING HEAVEN TO EARTH

I believe in Heaven. I have for a long time now. With me it is not just a
matter of faith either. I also believe in Heaven because of all the
evidence I see here on Earth. I see this evidence not only in the glorious
natural world all around us but also in the endless acts of love that come
from the hearts of people as well. These are the people who bring a bit of
Heaven to Earth everyday and they are the ones I wish to thank now.

To all the people who pick up the trash off the ground and plant trees and
flowers in its place, thank you. To every parent who spends the day hard
at work and then goes home and makes the time to play with and read to
their kids, thank you. To every kind heart who has ever taken in and loved
a stray dog or cat, thank you. To every person who has ever opened their
purse or wallet and given to a charity not out of duty, but out of love,
thank you. To everyone who has ever offered a ride, opened a door, or
shared a smile with a stranger, thank you. To every good Samaritan who has
stopped along the way to help a person in need, thank you. To every gentle
spirit who has shared their laughter, encouraged a friend, or inspired
another soul, thank you. To every single person who has tried to make this
world a little better through what they do, thank you. And to every soul
who not only knows the words “Love your neighbor as yourself” but tries to
live them as well, thank you.

God doesn’t just want each of us to one day reach Heaven, He also wants
each of us to bring a little Heaven down here to Earth as well. Do your
best then to love and be loved, to care for others and the world around
you, to create joy rather than sadness, and to help everyone you can every
chance you can. Do your best to let God’s love live through you. Then you
will be ready for Heaven, because you will carry a bit of Heaven with you
wherever you go.

Read and meditate on these scriptures:

Matthew 5:14-16 Jesus declares
“Ye are the light of the world. A city that
is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it
under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that
are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see
your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

1 John 4:10-12 “Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved
us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God
so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at
any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and His love is
perfected in us.”

Romans 12:9-16 “Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is
evil; cleave to that which is good. Be kindly affectioned one to another
with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; Not slothful in
business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; Rejoicing in hope; patient
in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; Distributing to the necessity
of saints; given to hospitality. Bless them which persecute you: bless,
and curse not. Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that
weep. Be of the same mind one toward another...”

1 Peter 3:8-11 “Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of
another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: Not rendering evil
for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that
ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing. For he that
will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil,
and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good;
let him seek peace, and ensue it.”

All of these scriptures can be found in the King James Version Bible.
