1410th -- May You Always Feel Loved

It is important that we always see ourselves as special, unique and different from everyone else. We should see our life as a one-of-a-kind creation instilled with gifts, talents and abilities that no one else possesses. We should understand this truth that God Almighty broke the mold after you and I were created and because we live right now we are entrusted to use these gifts to elevate our life and the lives of those around us. So many times because of the trials and tribulations of life we don’t believe that we are special or have anything unique that differentiates us from anyone else. That is the farthest thing from the truth. We are called God’s workmanship which is defined as one who is skilled to get a job done. We read this in Ephesians 2:10 where the apostle Paul tells us “For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” (Ephesians 1:3-5) (Jeremiah 1:4-8)

We are created with a plan and purpose in mind. We are not here by mistake. We are not meant to go through life lackadaisical, uninspired and unsure of what our mission is. When we humble ourselves before the Lord and ask that His will be done in our life, I believe God will heed that prayer and impress upon our hearts what we should do for His Eternal Glory. That is exactly how God led me into my ministry. I distinctly remember in November of 1999 praying a short, simple, but heart filled prayer asking God what He would have me to do with my life. Within a week I knew my mission was to be an encourager, to tell others about the goodness of God and to lead as many as possible to the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. I started the website Godswork.org, then the email ministry, then the prayer ministry, then the prison ministry where I would send letters to inmates around the country encouraging them to look past their present situation and focus on the goodness of God and how He can use them just as God was using me. (James 4:8-10) (Isaiah 6:8)

We all have been gifted in different ways. We just have to prayerfully seek God’s will and then follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. When we obey in humility God can and will use our simple life in ways that we never thought or imagined could be possible. Don’t think that you have to be strong, wise or able to be used by the Lord. I am none of those things and yet still God found a way to use me. One of my favorite Scriptures is found in 1 Corinthians 1:26-29 “For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence.” (Isaiah 30:21)

When we recognize and acknowledge that it is not in our own strength that we triumph and succeed that is when our life will be elevated to even greater heights. When we give glory and honor to the Lord with gratitude and thankfulness for using our life to make a difference in this world, the Lord will be well pleased with us and continue to use us in extraordinary ways. I pray that we always stay humble, stay sensitive to the leading of the Lord and always give God all the Glory, Honor and Praise for the mighty things that He continues to do in and through our lives. (Psalm 71:7-13)

I hope this message inspires and challenges your heart to know that every trial and challenge serves a purpose in equipping you for your future to come so that you will be prepared to rise up and become all who God created you to be.

MAY YOU ALWAYS FEEL LOVED

May you find serenity and tranquility in a world you may not always understand.

May the pain you have known and the conflict you have experienced give you the strength to walk through life facing each new situation with optimism and courage.

Always know that there are those whose love and understanding will always be there, even when you feel most alone.

May you discover enough goodness in others to believe in a world of peace.

May a kind word, a reassuring touch, a warm smile be yours every day of your life, and may you give these gifts as well as receive them.

Remember the sunshine soon coming when the storm seems unending.

Teach love to those who know hate, and let that love embrace you as you go into the world.

May the teaching of those you admire become part of you, so that you may call upon them.

Remember, those whose lives you have touched and who have touched yours are always a part of you, even if the encounters were less than you would have wished.

May you not become too concerned with material matters, but instead place immeasurable value on the goodness in your heart.

Find time in each day to see the beauty and love in the world around you.

Realize that each person has limitless abilities, but each of us is different in our own way.

What you may feel you lack in one regard may be more than compensated for in another.

What you feel you lack in the present may become one of your strengths in the future.

May you see your future as one filled with promise and possibility.

Learn to view everything as a worthwhile experience.

May you find enough inner strength to determine your own worth by yourself, and not be dependent on another's judgments of your accomplishments.

May you always feel loved.

Read and meditate on these scriptures:

Psalm 91:14-16 “Because he hath set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him My salvation.”

Jeremiah 29:11-13 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”

Psalm 31:23-24 “O love the LORD, all ye His saints: for the LORD preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer. Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.”

Psalm 107:6-9 “Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and He delivered them out of their distresses. And He led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation. Oh that men would praise the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! For He satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.”

Isaiah 26:3-4 “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee. Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength.”

Psalm 118:4-6 “Let them now that fear the LORD say, that His mercy endureth for ever. I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place. The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?”

All of these scriptures can be found in the King James Version Bible.
