1427th -- God’s Love Letter To You And To Me

There are many people in this world who feel abandoned, alone and believe that nobody cares for their well-being. So many hurting, discouraged and depressed people out there who don't realize that there is a God who loves them more than they can ever fully know. God in His infinite mercy and grace reached down from the Heights of Heaven to become a man like one of us so that we may more easily relate to Him and want to emulate how He lived on the earth. Everything Jesus did when He was on the earth was by faith and belief that all will be well in the end. The Lord knew that He would be ridiculed, mocked, beaten, bruised and ultimately crucified on our behalf so that we may be redeemed from the curse of the law, and by Jesus' sacrifice we were made righteous before God the Father. The Bible declares in Hebrews 12:2-3 “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him that endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.” (Romans 5:17-21) (Isaiah 54:17)

Knowing that the Lord Himself went through such agonizing pain and suffering we can take comfort in knowing that our trials and challenges aren’t nearly as difficult or devastating as what Jesus went through. That Scripture tells us to consider what the Lord endured which means to think and meditate on and then it goes on to say lest we be wearied and faint in our own minds which means when we feel like giving up. When we remember what the Lord did for us and how great His love is for mankind we should become encouraged, strengthened and rejuvenated in our spirits knowing that this light affliction that we are going through will not last or cause us to faint or be weary. We are strengthened in the name of Jesus. We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. The Bible declares in Romans 8:31-34 “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right Hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.” (2 Corinthians 4:17-18) (2 Timothy 4:8)

I hope this message inspires and challenges your heart to see that God’s love letter to you is written throughout Scripture.

Read and meditate on these scriptures:

Psalm 37:7-9 “Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.”

Psalm 34:11-16 “Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD. What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good? Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and His ears are open unto their cry. The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.”

Psalm 37:16-20 “A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholdeth the righteous. The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.”

Psalm 119:10-16 “With my whole heart have I sought Thee: O let me not wander from Thy commandments. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against Thee. Blessed art Thou, O LORD: teach me Thy statutes. With my lips have I declared all the judgments of Thy mouth. I have rejoiced in the way of Thy testimonies, as much as in all riches. I will meditate in Thy precepts, and have respect unto Thy ways. I will delight myself in Thy statutes: I will not forget Thy word.”

All of these scriptures can be found in the King James Version Bible.
