181st -- Message On Our Ministry

I hope you are doing well and in the best of health. I am doing very well
and continually thanking the Lord for His goodness and mercies that are
renewed every day. I would like to take this time and just share about our
Ministry and the impact GWM is having around the world. I hope you'll be
encouraged and blessed by what I share with you today concerning our
Ministry. It is a great privilege for me to be in this position and I do
give God all the Glory and Honor for the great things He has done and is
doing through this work.

It has been two years since this E-mail Encouragement Ministry was started
and I am truly amazed at the great things God has done with this ministry
that is focused on sharing the good news of the Lord in a very simple and
easy to understand manner. God's wisdom is so much greater than ours can
ever be and when God says, "He uses the simple things in life to confound
the wise", I know the Lord had me in mind when this scripture was written.
To be perfectly honest, I have no special training in writing nor do I
have a background with Bible teaching, but I do have a heart for God and
know that He has given me His wisdom and understanding in order for this
work to have the impact it has had on God's people. I am truly amazed and
thankful to the Lord for the ways He has used this simple Ministry to
change people's lives for the better. (1 Corinthians 1:27)

I constantly seek the Lord for wisdom and guidance concerning the messages
that I send. The Lord speaks to His children in different ways and with me
it is almost always the still small voice of the Holy Spirit giving me an
idea of what the next message should focus on. I try not to get too
technical when I prepare a message because I know technicalities in words
and scriptures can sometimes confuse people and get them to lose interest
in the message. Simplicity always draws better results. When Jesus wanted
to teach people His ways, He almost always told stories in parable form so
that they would understand what He was trying to say. I try to follow that
same path concerning our messages so that they are easily understood.
(Joshua 1:8-9) (1 Kings 19:11-13) (Matthew 13:34)

I receive many responses from our members that tell me how a particular
message I sent spoke directly to a situation in their lives and gave them
the answers they needed. The only thing I can say to that is God knows
how to answer His people and at times even when I have a message in mind;
God leads me to focus on a different message. To God belongs all the Glory
because He knows exactly what should be sent and when it should go out to
our members. I thank the Lord that He is so caring, He even rearranges
ministry messages in order to answer His children's questions and concerns.

I thank all of the members that have sent me words of encouragement and ask
us to continue this Ministry for as long as possible. I have planned to
do just that because I know through the voice of the Holy Spirit and the
response from our members that we are having a positive influence on
people's lives and an impact on this world.

I would also like to take a moment to thank all of the members that have
sent in donations to help support this Ministry. Every gift is a blessing
to us and helps us to pay our growing Ministry expenses. It is a great
blessing to know that the members that are being encouraged, inspired and
challenged are giving to the work that they are benefiting from. God knows
that we do not do this for money, but rather to edify and minister His Word
to people from around the world. It is my greatest privilege to be in
God's service and I thank the Lord for the great honor He has given me with
this ministry. I know without God's blessing and anointing, we would not
be where we are now three years later.

The Bible says unless the Lord builds the House, the builder labors in
vain. There's no use in trying to build up a ministry unless the Lord is
the inspiration and leader of that ministry. I can honestly tell you that
I had no desire to be in God's service when I first became a Christian, but
as I grew in the Lord and learned of His ways, I felt the tug of God on my
heart to start a ministry that would be focused on encouraging and
inspiring His people. Now more than three years later since our website
was established and more than 250,000 visitors to the website, I know that
God was right when calling me into His work. I am continually awed by the
things God has done and pray the next three years will be even more of a
blessing to each and every one of our members. (Psalm 127:1)

I thank you again for allowing me to come into your life to share these
simple messages that are focused on encouraging and inspiring you to be all
that God has in mind for you to be. I pray that you have been inspired,
encouraged, and challenged to never give up and always turn your focus and
hope to our Living Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. I am dedicated to this
work that God has called me to and will never give this Ministry up as
long as I am able.

I pray God's richest blessings upon your life and hope every dream that
you have will come to pass very soon. You stay encouraged in the Lord and
continue to stay faithful and strong in Him, for He is the solid Rock that
will never fail you. (Numbers 6:24-26) (Psalm 37:4) (1 Peter 2:4-10)

He are a few scriptures that I mentioned in this message:

1 Corinthians 1:27-29 "But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world
to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to
confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and
things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not,
to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in His
presence."

Psalm 127:1-2 "Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that
build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of
sorrows: for so He giveth His beloved sleep."

Jeremiah 33:2-3 "Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that
formed it, to establish it; the LORD is His name; Call unto me, and I will
answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not."

All scriptures can be found in the King James Version.
