94th -- The Piano Lesson

God is alive and well and by our side at all times, so never allow the
enemy to make you feel as if God has forgotten you. God has not nor will
He ever forget you because He loves you more then you will ever know. God
holds you as the apple of His eye (Psalm 17:8) and has carved your name in
the palms of His hands (Isaiah 49:16), so I encourage you to cheer up and
be strong in the Lord for He cares for you greatly. (1 Peter 5:6-7)

This is a great story that encouraged me in knowing that no matter how
futile my efforts may be at a certain task, when God comes into the
picture, He will turn that mess into a masterpiece. Read and be
encouraged and know that with the Lord by your side all will be well.
(Matthew 19:26)

THE PIANO LESSON

Wishing to encourage her young son's progress on the piano, a mother took
the small boy to a Paderewski concert.

After they were seated, the mother spotted a friend in the audience and
walked down the aisle to greet her.

Seizing the opportunity to explore the wonders of the concert hall, the
little boy rose and eventually explored his way through a door marked "No
Admittance."

When the house lights dimmed and the concert was about to begin, the
mother returned to her seat and discovered that her son was missing.

Suddenly, the curtains parted and spotlights focused on the impressive
Steinway on stage. In horror, the mother saw her little boy sitting at the
keyboard, innocently picking out "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star."

At that moment, the great piano master made his entrance, quickly moved to
the piano, and whispered in the boy's ear, "Don't quit, keep playing."

Then leaning over, Paderewski reached down with his left hand and began
filling in a bass part. Soon his right arm reached around to the other
side of the child and he added a running obbligato.

Together, the old master and the young novice transformed a frightening
situation into a wonderfully creative experience. The audience was
mesmerized.

That's the way it is with God. He is always by our side turning our little
into much and constantly whispering in our ears "Don't quit, keep trying."
I believe God is always cheering us on to keep going and to never give
up. The Lord declares in Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the thoughts that I
think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to
give you a future and a hope." He wishes for you to succeed and be all
you can be, so never think God has left you or forgotten you, for His love
is unconditional and unchangeable. (Malachi 3:6)

God is a friend that sticks closer than a brother (Proverbs 18:24) and all
who put their trust in Him will never want for anything (Psalm 34:10). Be
encouraged my friend and never give up. Fight the good fight of faith and
endure to the end never giving the enemy the satisfaction of giving up.

I want you to say out loud 10 times "God Loves Me". Ready? Start, again,
again, again, again, again, again, again, again, again, o.k. stop. I hope
that made you feel better, because He does love you.

Read and meditate on these scriptures:

Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."

Philippians 1:6 "Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath
begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ."

2 Corinthians 4:16-17 "For which cause we faint not; but though our
outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our
light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more
exceeding and eternal weight of glory."

Psalm 30:2-5 "O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me. O
LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me
alive, that I should not go down to the pit. Sing unto the LORD, O ye
saints of His, and give thanks at the remembrance of His holiness. For
His anger endureth but a moment; in His favour is life: weeping may endure
for a night, but joy cometh in the morning."

All scriptures can be found in the King James Version.

Remember: God doesn't call the equipped, He equips the called. And He'll
always be there to love and guide you on to great things...
