1239th -- The Greatest...

There are too many people in the world today that underestimate their worth. They don't see their life as special and unique from everyone else's. They don't think that they can be used to make a difference that will last in the hearts and minds of people that they may cross paths with. What we must always remember and keep in mind is that as long as we have breath within our being, it is not too late for us to be used to make a difference. How can you and I make a difference? The answer is so simple that you may not believe it. There have been world changers that will never be known for their greatness or recognized for their contribution to society. What did they do? They encouraged. They inspired. They affirmed. They acknowledged.

When we take the time to let someone know how special they really are, we are doing more for their self-confidence then we can wholly realize. There are people all around us who are on the verge of giving up. They don't see themselves as special, unique, gifted and filled with unrealized and unutilized potential, but when we take the initiative to lift them up, to encourage them, to affirm their life, we are breathing new hope into their being and we are giving them a gentle nudge to move past their stagnation and move forward towards their fulfilled destiny. (Luke 6:31)

One might retort back, “I myself need encouragement! How can I encourage someone when I am not at my best?” The simple answer is that when you help elevate someone else, your life will also become elevated. We don't give away blessings without receiving even more blessings in return. That's how good God is. The Bible says with the same measure that you give, it will be measured back to you again pressed down, shaken together and running over. You can't out give what you possess. It will always return back to you multiplied many times over. So what do you have to lose? Say a kind word, do a kind deed, lift up a weary soul and simply do to others what you would want them to do for you in your time of need. (Luke 6:38) (Mark 4:2-8)

I encourage you again to be a world changer. Recognize the power that you possess and use it to its fullest potential. You will be proud of the impact that your life had upon those who were fortunate enough to cross paths with you. All we should ever aim to do in life is strive to be an example of God's Love upon this Earth so that when our time comes to stand before Him we will hear those favorable words “Well done thou good and faithful servant.” (Matthew 25:14-23)

I hope this message inspires and challenges your heart to see your life's value and do all that you can to use your life until it has been all used up.

Read and meditate on these scriptures:

2 Corinthians 9:7-8 “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.”

Galatians 6:9-10 “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.”

Romans 12:10-16 “Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. Be of the same mind one toward another...”

Galatians 6:1-4 “Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.”

All of these scriptures can be found in the King James Version Bible.
