There are many instances in life when we want to start something new, but right in that moment when we are about to move from dead center and take that first step of faith, something happens that tries to discourage us from believing in ourselves as we should. It may be a discouraging comment from a friend or family member, a thought that tries to make us doubt our abilities or simply an unwarranted fear that failure will be a certainty. What we must realize in these crucial moments of decision is that the enemy will fight us the hardest right when we are in the beginnings of a new endeavor. He knows all too well that if we give up right away before seeing any signs of progress or victory, it will be that much easier for him to persuade us that we aren't meant to make a difference for our own lives and for this world. (1 John 4:18) (Proverbs 8:12)
What we must always remember and keep in mind though is that if we are hearing it from the mouth of the enemy, then we can rest assured that it is all lies. Whatever the devil whispers in your ear, you need to remember that the opposite is true. The Lord Jesus declares in John 8:44 “When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” That is all the more reason that we should be confident in what we know in our hearts is the right thing to do. When we hear a negative comment or think a discouraging thought our confession should be “Let God be true and every man a liar. I will be blessed going out and blessed coming in. Whatever I put my hand to will prosper because God has promised favor over my life.” We must step out in faith believing that every word from God's Word is used to edify, to instruct, to direct, to affirm, to encourage, to inspire, to challenge and to show us that nothing is impossible to those who believe. (2 Corinthians 4:15-18) (Hebrews 12:1-3)
I encourage you to be a believer. Don't be a doubter, don't give up before you have even begun, don't allow a temporary setback to keep you stagnant and unmoved, but rather use that moment to revitalize your fortitude to reach out again, to try again, to believe again and to know that your ending victory will be that much sweeter because you chose to move forward and not stand still in defeat. I encourage you again to have a clear vision of victory for your life. What is deep within your heart that you want to come to fruition? Have a vision for it, seek God in prayer about it, ask for His direction to lead you towards it and most importantly ask for protection while you are in the midst of attaining it. The Lord will be faithful to lead you and guide you until your initial step of faith becomes that manifested thing that you had sought after. (Romans 12:3-7) (1 Corinthians 10:31)
I hope this message inspires and challenges your heart to never allow fear or doubt to make you question your life's purpose, but rather have the assured knowing that you are meant to be a world changer.
HOW DO YOU KNOW?
Who ever said that you couldn't do
Exactly the thing that you're planning to?
Who ever thought that you couldn't climb
Up with the sun to heights sublime?
Who has advised you to check your pace,
Give up your struggle and lose the race,
Crawl off discouraged and hide your face?
Nobody but you.
You are the one who has done it all -
Deserted your castles and let'em fall,
Smothered the spark of ambition fire.
Shut off the current and cut the wire.
How do you know the die is cast?
How do you know when the crowd goes past
Who'll be the leader, and who'll be the last?
How do you know?
Life is not merely a game of chance,
And you're not the victim of circumstance.
Nothing too hard for a man to do,
Wishes it more than a miser's wealth,
More than an invalid longs for his health.
Works for it, prays for it --- night and day,
Feels that no price is too great to pay.
How do you know till you strive that way.
How do you know?

Read and meditate on these scriptures:
Romans 8:31-34 “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Who shall lay any thing to the charge of Gods elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.”
Psalm 37:7-9 “Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.”
Deuteronomy 30:19 “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.”
Isaiah 26:3-4 “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee. Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength.”
Psalm 28:6-8 “Blessed be the LORD, because He hath heard the voice of my supplications. The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise Him. The LORD is their strength, and He is the saving strength of His anointed.”
