No matter the trials or tribulations, the setbacks or the detours that we go through in life, we can rest assured that in the end all will be well with us. How do I know this? I know this because people more often than not will be there for us in our time of need. Whether we need a word of encouragement, an ear to hear our troubles or a shoulder to lean upon, I know there are others around us who can be our burden bearers. They may be family, friends, acquaintances or counselors, but they are there to help lift us up when we feel overwhelmed in life. Just as we have been there to help others in their time of need, we can also receive help when we need it for ourselves. That is why we should never allow pride or ego to keep us from getting the help that we need right when we need it. (John 16:33) (John 14:13-14)
No matter what you may be going through in your life, I want you to know that you are not alone. There are others around you who love you and wish to be there for you. Don't allow yourself to struggle alone, don't bare that weight that seems so heavy all by yourself, but share what you are feeling with those who care about you the most and let them lighted your burden. You would be surprised at how quickly help can come when you simply ask for it. Many times when we go through tough times, we like to go it alone and we think that we are strong enough to handle it, but that is not what the Bible says. The Bible encourages us to share our burden as we read in Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 “Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up the other; but woe to one who is alone and falls and does not have another to help.” (Isaiah 26:3) (Deuteronomy 20:4)
I encourage you to never bare your burden alone, but rather seek help when you need it. You will find great encouragement knowing that others wish to be there for you to lift you up, to encourage you and to show you how loved you really are. Never doubt your importance in the lives of those who know you the best. They wish to see you happy, healthy and whole all the days of your life. I say it again You Are Greatly Loved. Please never forget this truth. (Jeremiah 31:3) (Isaiah 42:16)
I hope this message inspires and challenges your heart to have a positive outlook on life and see past any of your current struggles knowing that you will come out on top in the end.
I AM OPTIMISTIC
I am optimistic about the future of the human race. Now many of my friends have asked me time and again how I can have such hope for the future in the face of the problems we have today. Hunger, pollution, sickness, inflation, recession, unemployment, wars, and terrorism fill so many hearts with fear. This world seems to be overflowing too with greed, hypocrisy, anger, hatred, prejudice, and intolerance. A better life for ourselves and our children seems for many to be some impossible dream. How then can I be so optimistic?
My optimism comes from looking into the hearts and souls of all the people I see everyday. I see a little boy holding open a heavy door for an elderly man walking with a cane. I see a young mother carrying a baby in her arms buy an extra box of macaroni in the store and put it in the food drive box to help feed the hungry. I see 3 different people pull off the road to help a motorist whose car broke down. I see a lady going door to door to share the extra vegetables she had grown in her garden with her neighbors. I see teenagers giving up their Spring and Summer vacations to spend their time helping to repair the homes of the poor and elderly. I see a man taking off his one Winter coat and giving it to a woman who has none. I see people give their time, talents, and energies to make the life of someone else a little better and a little brighter. Everywhere I look I see people with smiling faces and kind hearts. Everywhere I look I see people helping people, people caring for our world, and people loving their neighbors as themselves. Everywhere I look I see people living as God meant for us to live.
That is why I remain so optimistic about us all. Sometimes we fail, are selfish, and create more problems than we solve. Still, in our hearts we are good. In our souls we are God’s children. In our lives we are loving beings capable of saving this world for us and our children.

Read and meditate on these scriptures:
2 Corinthians 12:8-10 “For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.”
Hebrews 12:1-3 “...Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the Joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him that endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.”
Joshua 1:9 “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”
Psalm 28:6-8 “Blessed be the LORD, because He hath heard the voice of my supplications. The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise Him. The LORD is their strength, and He is the saving strength of His anointed.”
Philippians 3:13-14 “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
