There are many moments in life when we ask the question “why me?” We wonder why we are going through this trial, we wonder why that friend turned their back on us, we wonder why we went through that heartache and pain. What we must understand about life is that everyone has ups and downs. There is not one person alive on this earth that is trouble-free. The Bible says that man is of few days and full of troubles. Every person has a burden to bear. No matter how beautiful they are, no matter how rich they may be problems trouble them just as much as they trouble you and me. Knowing that problems are a universal issue, we shouldn't allow them to hinder how we see life. What we have on the inside of us in terms of the peace, joy and contentment that is within our hearts should never be affected by what comes our way outwardly. (Micah 7:18-19) (Job 14:1-5)
We can’t allow the outside discouragements to enter into our being and allow them to take root in our hearts. Why? Because what we think about and meditate on is exactly what we will draw back to ourselves and manifest in our own life. If we are constantly worried, fearsome and uncertain about our future then our countenance will portray those same feelings. Instead we should be praised filled giving thanks to the Lord who has promised that He would never leave us nor forsake us, that we would be the head and not the tail, that we would be blessed going in and blessed coming out and that our every need would be met according to His riches in Glory. (Proverbs 4:23) (Deuteronomy 28:3-9)
I encourage you wholeheartedly to lead your life with a quiet confidence that all is well with you. Don’t worry about your future, don’t fear the uncertainty, but with boldness of faith dare to believe that God is by your side and that all things will work together for your good in the end. I know from personal experience that God will never leave us wanting any good thing. God is too faithful to let us down when He knows we are depending upon Him. Let your assurance be clear in your faith established. Don’t doubt, don’t question and most importantly don’t worry. God loves you more than you’ll ever know. Be happy in knowing this eternal truth. (Romans 8:28) (Psalm 37:3-6)
I hope this message encourages and challenges your heart to not question the difficulties in your life, but with faith filled praise see that you are becoming better, wiser and stronger because of them.
WHY ME?
I asked God why I wasn't rich. And He showed me a man with the wealth of a thousand kings, who was lonely, and had no one to share it with.
I asked God why I wasn't beautiful. And He showed me a woman more beautiful than any other, who was ugly because of her vanity.
I asked God why he'd allowed me to become old. And He showed me a boy of 16, who lay dead at the scene of a car accident.
I asked God why I didn't have a bigger house. And He showed me a family of six, who'd just been evicted from their tiny shack, and were forced to live on the street.
I asked God why I had to work. And He showed me a man who couldn't find a decent job, because he'd never learned to read.
I asked God why I wasn't more popular. And He showed me a socialite with a thousand friends, who all left the moment the money and parties were no longer there.
I asked God why I wasn't smarter. And He showed me a natural born genius, who was serving life in prison for making ill use of his knowledge.
I asked God why He put up with a thankless sinner like me. And He showed me His Bible, and His Son who took my place at the judgment.
And I knew then how much He loved me.
What's bothering you today? Are your problems weighing heavy on your heart? Know, then, that you are loved. And have a WONDERFUL day! Then brighten someone else's day, in any way you care to. Remember, a candle loses nothing by lighting another candle. Just reach out and touch someone's life and brighten up their day. When there is nothing left but God, that is when you find out that God is all you need!

Read and meditate on these scriptures:
Romans 8:31-34 “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.”
Isaiah 26:3-4 “Thou wilt keep him in perfect; peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee. Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength.”
Romans 8:16-18 “The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”
Romans 5:8-10 “But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.”
1 Peter 2:9-10 “...ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the Praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvellous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.”
