So many people in this world are lacking peace in their life. They don’t have a sense of security; they don’t have an assurance that all will be well with them and instead of falling to their knees and calling upon the Lord to receive the peace they lack, they foolishly go the other way trying to find in other places what only God can fulfill. I know this truth for myself. My first 18 years of life were very fun, I had lots of friends, a brand-new car, all the money I needed to enjoy myself, but when I went to sleep at night I was lacking something deep in my heart. I didn’t know what it was that I was missing, but I knew I was missing something. There was a void in my heart that I was trying my best to fill, but was never able to. It wasn’t until after my boating accident that happened a week after my 18th birthday that left me paralyzed and I lost everything that I thought was precious that I finally recognized my need for God and His presence in my life. When I opened my heart to the Lord Jesus that void that had never been filled in my heart was now overflowing with joy, peace and a gladness that I had never known before. I thought I lost everything in my accident, but when Jesus came into my life, I realized that I now had everything that was precious and meaningful for a fulfilled life. (Matthew 11:28-30) (John 14:27)
That is why I do what I do. I share the goodness of God with friends and strangers alike so that they may know peace as I know peace. Nothing else can fill that void in our hearts because it was meant to only be filled by the Lord who created each and every heart that is beating right now inside of believers and nonbelievers alike. God’s wish is for every soul walking on this earth to recognize their need for the Savior and open their hearts to the Lord Jesus by saying “Yes I accept what You did for me on the cross and I welcome You Jesus into my heart for now and all eternity.” That is the simplest prayer confession to accept Christ that anyone is welcomed to pray. God hears the hearts cry of the person and as a loving Father He will be faithful to hear and answer every prayer that is prayed in the name of Jesus. If you are lacking the peace that I speak of I welcome you to open your heart to the Lord Jesus Christ. He will take your life from ordinary to extraordinary. He will lead you and guide you onto the best path as He sees fit and most importantly you will know a love that is beyond our finite minds. A quote I love simply says “No Jesus no peace, Know Jesus know peace.” I pray that you open your heart afresh to the Lord today. (Isaiah 26:3-4) (Romans 10:9-11)
I hope this message ministers to your heart to never allow the trials and challenges of life to overwhelm you, but rather allow those moments to strengthen your faith in the Lord calling upon Him and receiving peace that surpasses all understanding.
JESUS IS ALWAYS WITH YOU
I was blessed with my 1st son, David, 6 years ago; he is a wonderful boy. He listens to me and obeys me, whatever I teach him he never forgets, and he holds onto it like a treasure. So I felt impressed in my heart that I needed to speak with him more about the Lord, so that he can always have the fear of the Lord and the love of the Lord in him. When he was about three he used to be very scared of lightning, so I told him not to be afraid and that Jesus is in his heart, and that whenever he was afraid all he had to do was touch his heart with his hand and say “Jesus I love you and thank you for being with me.” Ever since then, whenever David was scared I saw him touch his heart with his hand and then smile.
Last month I was going through a lot of turmoil -- my husband had been laid off from his job for 5 months, we were getting financially drained, and I was totally confused and overwhelmed. So I put both of my two boys (I have a 6-month-old boy also) to bed and went into the living room, and was waiting for my husband who had gone to the store. I was feeling lonely and I just started crying my eyes out. Then I heard the bedroom door opening and I saw David walking towards me. I immediately wiped my tears and smiled at him. He knew something was wrong as he walked up to me and said, “Mommy are you alright? Are you afraid of something?” I said, “yes honey mommy is a little afraid.” Immediately he took my right hand and placed it on my heart and said, “Jesus is with you mommy, He is always with you, don’t be afraid, He will take care of you mommy, and I will take care of you too.”
When I heard him tears of joy just flooded my face. I hugged him, and then I looked upward to Heaven and said, “Father forgive me, for I was not looking at my blessings, joy, and your security, but instead I was looking at the storm. Thank you Lord for being there for me.”
Jesus is always with you and He will take care of you. Next time you are afraid, just place your hand on your heart and you will immediately know that Jesus is there for you. Remember Isaiah 43:5, where the Lord says: “Do not be afraid, for I am with you...”

Read and meditate on these scriptures:
Psalm 37:7-9 “Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.”
Psalm 34:11-16 “Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD. What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good? Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and His ears are open unto their cry. The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.”
Psalm 37:16-20 “A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholdeth the righteous. The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.”
Psalm 119:10-16 “With my whole heart have I sought Thee: O let me not wander from Thy commandments. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against Thee. Blessed art Thou, O LORD: teach me Thy statutes. With my lips have I declared all the judgments of Thy mouth. I have rejoiced in the way of Thy testimonies, as much as in all riches. I will meditate in Thy precepts, and have respect unto Thy ways. I will delight myself in Thy statutes: I will not forget Thy word.”
