We who have given our hearts to the Lord Jesus Christ have been given a gift that costs nothing to receive and yet cost God everything He held dear. When the Lord Jesus took upon Himself our sins and died in our place, it was a sacrifice that would change this world forever. A selfless act to show a love that had never been known before. God's love for mankind is beyond our finite minds. He loves us purely, wholly and without motive or pretense. Those who have been wise enough to recognize their sins, repent of them and call upon the Lord Jesus for forgiveness and received salvation have passed from death to life, from worry to joy and from uncertainty to having God's perfect peace. (Romans 5:8-10) (1 Peter 2:9-10)
By being recipients of such a selfless gift we should always be quick to tell others about the goodness of God so that they too may pass from death to life and spend their eternity with the God who loves them and died for them. We shouldn't be timid in our witness of the Lord, but with deep sincerity we should tell of our own experience of salvation, of our old way of living and share the transformation that we've experienced so that others may also experience the same thing in their life. The Bible declares in Colossians 3:9 "Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man..." When Jesus enters into our life a change begins to happen. The old thoughts fade away and a new zeal of hope, empathy and a desire to share and show an unrequited love takes place within our being which I believe shares a small glimpse of how God looks at His creation. (2 Peter 3:9) (Jeremiah 31:3)
I encourage you to be a witness of the goodness of God over your life. Testify of the change that has taken place in your life so that you may glorify God by sharing all that He has done for you so that others may be encouraged and challenged to allow the Lord to do the same for them. We should always keep in mind that God is no respecter of persons which means if He does it for one then He is sure to do it for another. Let us be that Beacon of hope and love that will draw all people the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Living for the Lord Jesus will always be a life well lived and when our time comes to meet the Lord we will be thankful for the privilege to be His witnesses. (Matthew 12:48-50) (Matthew 25:21)
I hope this message inspires and encourages your heart to never shy away from sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.
HE PUT THE WORDS IN MY MOUTH
Jesus answered, “My teaching is not my own. It comes from Him who sent me.” -John 7:16 NIV
You are approached by a friend who says, “I've been noticing that you seem to be content and at peace all the time. I wish I could be like that. I've got a lot of crazy things happening in my life and I worry about them all the time. I'd like to be like you. What's your secret?”
Obviously, this is a person ready to hear the Good News. But you hesitate, wondering what words to say that will turn him on to Christ, not turn him off. You need not worry.
All things come from God, even those words that come from our mouths. You do not have to be a good speaker to spread the Good News. If you trust in God and ask for His guidance, the Holy Spirit will say the right words for you.
“When you are brought before synagogues, rulers and authorities, do not worry about how you will defend yourselves or what you will say, for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say.” -Luke 12:11-12 NIV
If someone comes to you and asks about your faith, ask God to give you the right words to say. Then say them without hesitation.
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” -Acts 1:8 NIV
Ask God right now to give you the power of effective witnessing so that you will be able to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to others.
PRAYER:
O Lord and Everlasting Father, bring down your Holy Spirit upon us so that we may be effective witnesses for you. Give us the words to speak to spread the Good News of Salvation throughout the world. We ask this in Jesus name. Amen.

Read and meditate on these scriptures:
Romans 8:16-17 “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs-heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.”
1 John 1:8-10 “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us.”
Isaiah 55:6-9 “Seek ye the LORD while He may be found, call ye upon Him while He is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.”
Mark 8:36-38 The Lord Jesus declares “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of Me and of My words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when He cometh in the Glory of His Father with the Holy Angels.”
