We should always be quick to acknowledge those who have helped us in any way throughout our life. I’m sure each of us could attest to the fact that we can’t do it on our own and if we hadn’t received the help that we needed at exactly the moment when we needed it, we probably would not be here today. God provides for us visible Angels that show up at exactly the right time and at exactly the right place to help us stand taller, rise higher and reach farther than we ever thought we could. It is these Angels that we should take the time to call, to visit, to write and just share our gratitude and appreciation for their intervention in our life. We have to be cognizant to the fact that we could never do it all on our own because our strength, our knowledge and our ability is limited and we need the help of our fellow man to accomplish together what we could never do on our own. (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10) (Philippians 4:10-19)
Be encouraged to bring into remembrance good works that were done to you this week, this month, this year and throughout your life. Remember those people who helped you and make an extra effort to make known your gratitude and appreciation for their intervention. Let others know that you think about them, that you are thankful for them, that you pray for their well-being and that because they were there for you, your life has been enriched in ways that they can never fully know. Share these truths with those who have helped you and you will brighten up their life in ways that you can’t fully imagine or understand. When one receives acknowledgment for a deed well done, their soul rejoices, their heart expands and their minds race to see how else they could be of service to their fellow man. When one receives their harvest of seeds well sown they will be inspired to do even greater works because they will see the good results that came forth from their efforts. (Hebrews 13:7-17) (Luke 6:31)
May we always acknowledge our helpers, be thankful for them, pray for them and wish to emulate their example in our own life so that we too can be visible Angels for someone else that is in need of being lifted up. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 25:35-40 “For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me. Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You? And the King will answer and say to them, Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.” (Luke 6:38)
I hope this message inspires and challenges your heart to remember and acknowledge the many people that have believed in you throughout your life and encouraged you to try again, to stand taller and to reach farther.
A SPECIAL THANKS
My son will be graduating from High School next May. After turning 21 he will no longer be able to attend the special education program at the school he loves. Over the years, in spite of his Autism, he has grown into such a kind, happy, and caring young man. He is a joy to this world and I know too that his Mother and I aren’t the only reason he became the blessing he is. That is why I want to give a special thanks to so many who have helped him over the years.
His beautiful sister has been a true angel in watching over him. I can’t thank her enough. His aide at school has been like a second Mother to him. God blessed us by sending her into his life. I thank too all of his teachers that showered him with praise and encouragement and allowed both his mind and spirit to grow. All the wonderful coaches who allowed him to be equipment manager on their teams over the years deserve a special thanks as well. They gave my son so much laughter and love, and his happiness is so much greater because of them.
I also want to thank every student that went to school with my son over the years. Even though my boy was different you always treated him with gentleness and respect. You made his life better with your loving smiles and kind words. You made him feel a part of your school and that has helped him to become such a special and beautiful person.
All of you showed my son and me what life is really about. It is not about making a million dollars or having fame and worldly success. It is about loving each other, caring for each other, helping each other, and making every person in this world see that they too are a special soul created by God. It is not about making a living but about LIVING your life with goodness and compassion. Thank all of you then for helping my boy to grow up and become the wonderful, young man and loving soul that he is today. May God continue to bless you always.

Read and meditate on these scriptures:
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 “Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.”
Psalm 28:6-8 “Blessed be the LORD, because He hath heard the voice of my supplications. The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise Him. The LORD is their strength, and He is the saving strength of His anointed.”
Psalm 20:6-9 “Now know I that the LORD saveth His anointed; He will hear him from His Holy Heaven with the saving strength of His right hand. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright. Save, LORD: let the king hear us when we call.”
Psalm 18:30-33 “As for God, His way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: He is a buckler to all those that trust in Him. For who is God save the LORD? or who is a rock save our God? It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect. He maketh my feet like hinds' feet, and setteth me upon my high places.”
