168th -- Message On The Expectancy Of Our Faith

I have been praying about what message to send to you and I felt the Lord
impress upon my heart to write a message on the expectancy of our faith.
Many times we pray and seek the Lord for an answer to a particular prayer
and instead of holding onto our faith and receiving the answer without it
first being visible, we give up and think God did not want to answer our
prayer. I hope this message will encourage your heart and challenge you
to see faith in a different perspective. The perspective that God wants
you to have. (James 1:6-8) (3 John 2)

The Bible declares in Hebrews 11:1, "Now faith is the substance of things
hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." There is such great revelation
in this one scripture that if you receive this word into your mind and
spirit, it can completely change your outlook on receiving from the Lord
and getting all that God has in store for you. Believing for and receiving
what you are saying before it is seen in this natural realm is what causes
heaven to move on your behalf.

Faith is a powerful word used many different ways, but the way I am using
it is the same as defined in the dictionary. The word Faith is defined in
the dictionary as, "Belief that does not rest on logical proof or material
evidence." We know that if it is faith then we cannot see it, but once it
is seen, faith has then been manifested into that physical thing that we
had prayed and believed for. The dictionary definition and the Bible
definition go hand-in-hand concerning faith.

Our faith is something that should be highly regarded because without it,
it is impossible to please the Lord and receive from Him the things He has
planned for us. We read this in Hebrews 11:6, "But without faith it is
impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is,
and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." Diligence
goes right along with faith because if we pray one time and the answer does
not come and we give up, then we have not been diligent in our request.
Jesus says for us to receive from God, we must Ask, Seek and Knock. Never
give up when the answer doesn't come right away. Stay faithful with
diligence, and your faith will manifest itself if you faint not.
(Matthew 7:7-8) (Galatians 6:9)

The Bible says in James 5:15, "The prayer of faith shall save the sick and
the Lord will raise him up." The prayer of faith is hope for something
that cannot be seen and once prayed in complete surrender and belief, then
God is the one who will heal and raise that person up. Faith is so powerful
that Jesus said a person who has faith the size of a mustard seed can say
to a mountain to move and that mountain will move because of the power of
faith. It is not in our power the mountain moves, but in God's power. The
only thing God is looking for is your faith to rise up and believe that
you will receive what you have said, prayed and believed for. (Matthew 17:20)

God tells us to write down the vision and prophesy our future. If we
expect to change our life for the better then we must pray, sow, confess
and believe for the better things God has in store for us. Our faith must
not waver in the midst of the storm. We must hold onto the promises that
God has made throughout His word and know that we will come forth
victorious and blessed beyond recognition because of our unwavering faith
and trust in the Most High God. (Habakkuk 2:2) (Ezek. 37:4-8) (James 1:6-7)

I hope you have found a bit of strength, comfort and encouragement in this
message to stand up and use your faith to do the impossible. Faith is the
substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Once you
see your answer, faith has then been manifested. If your faith has not
yet been manifested, you keep on confessing, believing and receiving by
faith and in God's perfect timing you will have your faith be made manifest
into that thing that you had hoped for.

Read and meditate on these scriptures:

Romans 12:2-3 "…be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by
the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and
acceptable, and perfect, will of God. For I say, through the grace given
unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more
highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath
dealt to every man the measure of faith."

Hebrews 11:1-3 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the
evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report.
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of
God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear."

James 1:5-8 "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to
all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let
him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of
the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that
he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in
all his ways."

Hebrews 11:6 "…without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that
cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them
that diligently seek Him."

All scriptures can be found in the King James Version.
