249th -- Message On Never Giving Up

I hope you are doing well and in the best of health. I'm doing very well
and simply continuing in the path that God has laid on my heart. It is a
great privilege to be in God's service to both encourage and minister to
His children. I am very humbled by being in this position because it is
not an easy task to minister to so many people. Only by God's grace and
leading am I able to fulfill God's plan for my life and this Ministry. To
God belongs all the Glory, Honor, and Praise for this work that is founded
under His name.

I have been thinking about the faithfulness of God's servants throughout
the Bible and I felt the Lord leading me to write a message on what would
have happened if a couple of God's servants chose to quit their task
because they were discouraged or felt unfit to accomplish the task that God
had placed on their hearts. I hope you are encouraged and inspired by this
message to never give up on the task that God has placed on your heart.

I think about the faithfulness of the Apostle Paul. What if one day the
Apostle Paul who was sitting in jail decided that he had suffered enough
for the sake of the Gospel and chose not to write any of the great epistles
which would eventually become a big part of the New Testament? If the
Apostle Paul quit the task that God placed in his heart, we would not have
such great, inspiring and powerful scriptures such as, "I can do all things
through Christ", "If God be for us, who can be against us?", "Be strong in
the Lord and in the power of His might". The Apostle Paul was encouraging
the saints to move forward and be strong even while he himself was both
chained and in a prison. (Philippians 4:13) (Romans 8:31) (Ephesians 6:10)

I think about Noah's faithfulness. What if after building the arc for 80
years, Noah got discouraged and quit building the arc because there were
both no signs of rain and everyone around Noah was mocking his efforts?
All of the Earth's creatures as well as Noah and his family would not have
been saved from the flood. There would not have been a chance for mankind
to replenish the earth both through the animals as well as the rebirth of
the entire human population. Because Noah stayed faithful, there are now
over 6 Billion people alive on this Earth. (Genesis 7:17-24) (Genesis 9:1-7)

We must understand that both Noah and the Apostle Paul were human just as
we are and they felt the same emotions that we feel today and yet each
continued in and fulfilled God's plan for their life. The point I want to
make is that no matter how frustrated you may get or how discouraged you
may feel because of the trials of life, you mustn't ever quit the task
that God has placed on your heart. You may not see any fruit right now
and think that your time and effort is all in vain, but I can assure you
that someone will benefit and receive great blessings because of your
unfailing determination. (Hebrews 11:7) (Ephesians 3:13) (Hebrews 12:2-3)

I encourage you to never allow the voice of discouragement to enter your
heart. Stay steadfast and determined in accomplishing every goal that God
has placed in your heart. The Bible says to be strong in the Lord and in
the power of His might. We cannot be strong in our own might or ability,
but we can be strong in the Lord. Take comfort in the Lord's promise and
know that great things will come forth because of your steadfast faith and
determination in reaching every goal that is in your heart.

Read and meditate on these scriptures:

Psalm 37:1-5 "Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou
envious against the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down
like the grass, and wither as the green herb. Trust in the LORD, and do
good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
Delight thyself also in the LORD; and He shall give thee the desires of
thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in Him; and He shall
bring it to pass."

Philippians 3:13-14 "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but
this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching
forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the
prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."

Hebrews 12:1-3 "Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great
a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth
so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set
before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for
the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and
is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him that
endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, lest ye be wearied
and faint in your minds."

All scriptures can be found in the King James Version Bible.
