318th -- Message To Be Of Good Cheer

I hope you are doing well and are in the best of health. I am doing well
and am very thankful to the Lord for this great privilege that He has given
me to be a vessel in which His encouragement and inspiration can reach
forth to lift up God's people around the world. Only by God's spirit can
we have the positive impact that we've had and that's why I am always quick
to give God all the Glory. I hope you have greatly benefited from every
area of our Ministry as we are here only for one reason and that is to
serve just as the Lord did when He was on the earth.

The Lord has spoken to my heart to write a message focused on one phrase
and that is 'Be of Good Cheer'. There are many people who get down and
discouraged because of the trials of life and forget the promise of the
Lord that victory is promised to come to those who do not lose heart. It
is easy for anyone to hear those words Be of Good Cheer and dismiss them by
saying, "That's easy for you to say because you don't have my problems."
This is not a phrase meant to merely cheer you up, but is a powerful word
from the Lord telling us that no matter what happens, we are to remember
His promise of victory and because we have; our demeanor will be one of
Good Cheer. (Ephesians 3:13) (John 16:33) (Psalm 34:8-9)

The Lord knows that while we are on the earth problems will come. The Lord
Jesus never said that because you have believed in Me, you will travel
through life on flowery beds of ease. In truth He said, "In the world you
will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."
The Lord made it a point to emphasize that problems will come, but He made
a stronger point in telling us that He has overcome the world for us and so
our continence should be one of Good Cheer because of this eternal promise.
The Bible also reminds us that we are in the world but not of the world so
our Joy should be full at all times because the Lord conquered every
problem on the Cross at Calvary when He said "It Is Finished."
(John 16:33) (John 15:18-21) (John 19:30)

If you are facing problems that seem too difficult for you to solve, I
encourage you to not spend one moment worrying over that situation, but
rather invest that valuable energy in confessing your victory and trust in
the Lord and know that God is with you and will bring a solution to every
bad situation that comes your way. Praise and Thanksgiving in the midst
of a problem is sure to discourage the devil's attacks against your life.
I believe the Lord tells us to be of good cheer in the midst of our
tribulations so that the enemy can see that we are not focused on the
visible which is only temporary, but we're focused on the invisible which
will last for all eternity. (Proverbs 3:5-6) (Jeremiah 17:7-8)

Be encouraged to lift up your eyes and faith to God and thank Him that He
has already been to the place where your victory lies and has called that
place to be your own. Never focus on the problem, but focus on the One
who has the solution. The next time you are tempted to tell God how big
your problem is, I encourage you to go to your problem and tell that
obstacle how big your God is. When our faith lines up with the Word of
God, that's when the impossible becomes possible and every obstacle that
was in our path is supernaturally removed by the power of Almighty God.
(Jeremiah 32:17) (Psalm 25:15-21) (Matthew 19:26)

I pray that you have been encouraged to follow the Lord's remedy and Be of
Good Cheer no matter what problem is trying to bring you down. By the
Blood of the Lamb and the Word of our testimony, we will overcome the devil
and raise our hands in victory. We can do so with Cheerful hearts and
Praise filled prayers thanking God for where we were and where we are now.
To God be all the Glory, Honor and Praise for great things He has done.

Read and meditate on these scriptures:

James 1:2-5 "My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers
temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire,
wanting nothing. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that
giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him."

Job 5:19-23 "He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there
shall no evil touch thee. In famine He shall redeem thee from death: and
in war from the power of the sword. Thou shalt be hid from the scourge of
the tongue: neither shalt thou be afraid of destruction when it cometh. At
destruction and famine thou shalt laugh: neither shalt thou be afraid of
the beasts of the earth. For thou shalt be in league with the stones of
the field: and the beasts of the field shall be at peace with thee."

Matthew 5:10-12 Jesus declares,
"Blessed are they which are persecuted for
righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye,
when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of
evil against you falsely, for My sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad:
for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets
which were before you."

All of these scriptures can be found in the King James Version Bible.
