There are moments in life when we get frustrated and think that God isn't
on our side helping us with the daily struggles that we go through. We
must understand that God is omniscient which means He knows all things at
all times no matter how small or insignificant they may seem. It is
important that we keep in mind that God loves us and wishes for our best
interest at all times and because He does, there are many interventions
that save us from harm that we never even realize. Simple things like
being late for work or even having to stay a few minutes longer at your job
may have saved you from a fatal car accident that you never even thought
about. It is the miracles that we don't know about that should cause us
to get on our knees and thank God for His saving grace. (Psalm 37:23-25)
Only God in heaven knows of the many instances that we have been saved
from destruction without us even knowing it. Remember what the scripture
says in Psalm 34:7-8, "The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them
that fear Him, and delivereth them. O taste and see that the LORD is good:
blessed is the man that trusteth in Him." Be encouraged and know that God
is with you at all times and promises to protect and direct your life
because of your trust in Him.
I hope today's message ministers to your heart to continually trust that
God is with you and has your best interest in mind at all times.
GOD IS WATCHING OUT FOR YOU
I was going through a divorce and had just moved with my daughters into an
old but affordable home. "Please see us through this", I prayed daily,
wondering how I would manage alone. Then the furnace stopped running just
as the temperature plummeted. It was unusually cold for Phoenix and the
house was freezing.
I called the utility company and uncovered an unbelievable string of
errors. First, I learned my account had been closed because the gas bill
had not been paid. I had never gotten the statement because it had been
sent to the wrong address. Then when the company tried calling me, my
answering machine (which I didn't know was broken) didn't record the messages!
There was a strict policy that a canceled account would not be reinstated
without first doing a check of the entire heating system. So, after all the
upheaval and financial stress we had been through, I had to pack up my kids
and go to a hotel for a couple of days until workmen inspected my furnace.
"God, aren't you watching out for us at all?" I fumed - until the day the
workers came. "Lady," one of the workmen said after the inspection, "You
and your family are lucky to be alive. We discovered a hole in the heat
exchanger that would have leaked carbon monoxide directly into your home.
Thank God your furnace didn't go on."

I encourage you again to trust that God has your best interest in mind at
all times no matter how bad the situation may seem right now. Remember
what the scripture says in Romans 8:28, "And we know that all things work
together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called
according to His purpose." In the end, good is promised to come so show
your confidence in God and know that His ways are much better and higher
than ours can ever be. (Proverbs 3:5-6) (Jeremiah 29:11) (Isaiah 55:8-9)
Read and meditate on these scriptures:
Psalm 139:1-6 "O LORD, Thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest
my downsitting and mine uprising, Thou understandest my thought afar off.
Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my
ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, Thou knowest
it altogether. Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand
upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot
attain unto it."
Psalm 37:3-6 "Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the
land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the LORD; and
He shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the
LORD; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass. And He shall bring
forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday."
Hebrews 10:22-24 "Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of
faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies
washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith
without wavering; (for He is faithful that promised;) And let us consider
one another to provoke unto love and to good works."
Psalm 37:23-25 "The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and He
delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down:
for the LORD upholdeth him with His hand. I have been young, and now am
old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread."
