As believers in Jesus Christ, we must always be conscious to the fact that
people all around us are in need of the Savior for their Redemption. It
is easy for us to go through life not taking interest in the eternity of
others, but as His children we are called to seek and to save that which
is lost. The hour is too late for us not to care where those around us
will spend their eternity. If we love our neighbor as Jesus commands us
to, then we are to tell others that salvation comes only through the shed
blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and whosoever believes and trusts in Him
will be saved from an eternity in hell and given eternal life in heaven
forevermore. Be encouraged and know that your testimony can and will make
a big difference when you share what Christ has done for you with those
around you. (Romans 3:23-25) (Luke 15:4-7) (Romans 10:10-13) (John 9:24-31)
I hope you are encouraged and challenged by today's message to stand up and
witness the saving Grace of Jesus Christ to all who are lost around you.
A FINAL WITNESS
If you were caught up in the middle of a disaster, would you even think to
witness to the unsaved around you?
"Yet I never shrank from telling you the truth, either publicly or in your
homes. I have had one message for Jews and Gentiles alike-the necessity of
turning from sin and turning to God, and of faith in our Lord Jesus."
Acts 20:20-21
Scottish minister John Harper was saved at age 13. Though his life was full
of heartbreak and adversity, he clung to his faith and possessed a deep
passion for lost souls. At age 39 his congregation of 25 had grown to 500.
Widower Harper planned a voyage across the Atlantic to preach in Chicago,
taking his small daughter and his sister with him on the Titanic. After
waking them on that tragic day, Harper scrambled up the deck calling,
"Women, children and unsaved into the lifeboats!" He gave up his lifejacket
to one man and was seen swimming frantically from one passenger to another,
offering the salvation of Christ and witnessing to anyone who would listen
before the frigid waters drew him down.
In a meeting four years later, a Scotchman stated, "I am a survivor of the
Titanic. When I was drifting alone on wreckage that awful night, the tide
brought Mr. John Harper also on a piece of wreck near me. 'Man,' he said,
'are you saved?' 'No,' I said. 'I am not.' He replied, 'Believe on the Lord
Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.'
The waves bore him away; but strange to say brought him back a little
later, and he said, 'Are you saved now?' 'No,' I said, 'I cannot honestly
say that I am.' He said again, 'Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou
shalt be saved.' and shortly after he went down; and there, alone in the
night, and with two miles of water under me, I believed. I am John Harper's
last convert."
Let's remember there are people we meet who are void of the hope we have
in Jesus. Is there anyone you need to tell about Jesus today - before it's
too late? You may be someone's final witness!
"But how can they call on Him to save them unless they believe in Him? And
how can they believe in Him if they have never heard about Him? And how can
they hear about Him unless someone tells them?" Romans 10:14

Read and meditate on these scriptures:
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
Romans 10:9-10 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead,
thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness;
and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of
yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."
Acts 4:12 "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other
name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."
All of these scriptures can be found in the King James Version Bible.
