We should not underestimate our ability to be great and to accomplish great
things. There are many instances when we lose confidence in who we are and
think that we are not capable to reach past our present circumstances to
the heights ahead of us where great things are waiting to be accomplished.
The Bible says we are new creations in Christ, old things have passed away
and all things have become new. We are to have confidence in Whose we are
and know that with God all things are possible to those who believe. Be
encouraged to see yourself as the victor in all things and keep in mind
that within you there is power to change this world for the better.
(2 Corinthians 5:17) (Psalm 18:1-3) (Mark 10:27) (Jeremiah 23:28-29)
I hope you are inspired by this message to see yourself as special and
unique with abilities that no one else possesses. You are needed to better
this world and I pray that you see that for yourself.
YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES!
Figure it out for yourself, my lad,
You've all that the greatest of men have had;
Two arms, two hands, two legs, two eyes,
And a brain to use if you would be wise,
With this equipment they all began---
So start from the top and say, “I can.”
Look them over, the wise and the great,
They take their food from a common plate,
And similar knives and forks they use,
With similar laces they tie their shoes;
The world considers them brave and smart,
But you've all they had when they made their start.
You can triumph and come to skill,
You can be great if you only will;
You're well equipped for what fight you choose,
You have arms and legs and a brain to use;
And the man who has risen great deeds to do,
Began his life with no more than you.
You are the handicap you must face,
You are the one who must choose your place.
You must say where you want to go,
How much you will study the truth to know;
God has equipped you for life, but He
Lets you decide what you want to be.
Courage must come from the soul within
The man must furnish the will to win.
So figure it out for yourself, my lad,
You were born with all that the great have had;
With your equipment they all began,
Get hold of yourself and say, “I can.”

Our attitude will dictate whether we are successful or not in whatever it
is that we are trying to accomplish. If you think you can in your mind,
you are right and if you think you can't in your mind, still you are right.
We are to believe in ourselves and have the attitude that we will be
victorious and triumphant in every area that we apply ourselves and we will
reach the goals and aspirations that God has placed within our hearts.
Read and meditate on these scriptures:
Matthew 5:5-9 Jesus declares “Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit
the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness:
for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain
mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Blessed are
the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.”
Romans 12:4-7 “For as we have many members in one body, and all members
have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and
every one members one of another. Having then gifts differing according to
the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according
to the proportion of faith; Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or
he that teacheth, on teaching.”
Philippians 3:13-14 “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but
this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching
forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the
prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
All of these scriptures can be found in the King James Version Bible.
