559th -- Message On What's Most Important

I hope you are doing well and are in the best of health. I am doing
excellent and am thankful for this day that God has given me. The Lord has
continually blessed my life and this ministry since its inception in June
of 1999. God has been gracious and merciful to me and the Holy Spirit has
continually led me to send the right message at the right time. I do give
God all the glory and honor and praise for every blessing that has been
bestowed upon this work and for each member that has written in to express
their gratitude. God did it all and I dare not take the credit. I love
Him with all my heart and serving with this Ministry is the least that I
could do for what He has already done for me.

It seems like I learn lessons about life from the simplest of things and a
recent incident that happened almost in front of my eyes reminded me of
what is most important in life. We have a pretty big yard in the back of
our house and almost every day we see different animals running from our
house to the park that is just behind it. Recently, we saw a Raccoon in
our backyard which doesn't happen too often but was a welcomed sight
because it was a very pretty Raccoon.

We saw the Raccoon for two days and it looked normal and healthy but on the
third day in the morning when I looked outside, I saw it just lying on the
grass motionless and I thought it was simply taking a nap. A couple of
hours later, my mother saw it again and it was still in the same position.
We went outside to check on it and sadly we found that the Raccoon had
died. We were very sad for the small animal because it was running around
just the day before and looked completely fine.

We called the animal control center and someone came to take the Raccoon.
It was a very quick and uneventful removal, but something the animal
control lady did stuck with me. She picked up the Raccoon and placed him
in a small box and then a bag and then she put him in the back of their
truck and they left.

When I saw her take the Raccoon away, I felt God speak to my heart that
when our time comes to die, we will all die alone. We will not be able
to take any of our possessions that we worked so hard to accumulate, nor
will we be able to take any of our friends or family with us. We will all
die alone and face God on our Judgment Day and He will ask us this simple
question, “What did you do with my son Jesus Christ? Did you accept Him or
did you reject Him?”

This is the only thing that will matter when we stand before God Almighty.
The Lord will not ask us of the vast wealth that we did or did not acquire
and He will not ask us which of our friends or family were Christians. He
will ask us what we did with His Son and He will either accept us because
we first accepted Him or reject us because we rejected Him. (Mark 8:34-38)

The time that we have on this earth is very short no matter how long it may
sometimes seem and in this time we are to choose wisely and open our hearts
to the only One who died for our sins so that we may live eternally with
God the Father. Such love is incomprehensible, yet still exists without
motive or selfish reasoning behind it. (James 4:14) (John 14:1-3) (John 3:16-18)

I encourage you to make Jesus the Lord of your life if you have never done
so before because He loves you and He died so that you may live Eternally.
You will never know love like the perfect love that God has towards you and
by accepting Him into your heart you have nothing to lose, but you do have
everything to gain. Make this wise decision so when your time on earth
comes to an end, you will have nothing to fear because your name will be
written in the Book of Life. (Luke 9:56) (Revelation 20:11-15)

Read and meditate on these scriptures:

2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men
count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any
should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”

Romans 10:9-11 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead,
thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness;
and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture
saith, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed.”

Isaiah 1:18-20 “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD:
though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they
be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient,
ye shall eat the good of the land: But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be
devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.”

Psalm 103:10-12 “He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us
according to our iniquities. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so
great is His mercy toward them that fear Him. As far as the east is from
the west, so far hath He removed our transgressions from us.”

All of these scriptures can be found in the King James Version Bible.
