We should always be quick to thank the Lord for His sacrifice on the cross
where He took upon Himself our sins and died in our stead. It is easy for
us to think on things that are before our eyes and forget at what a great
cost our salvation comes, but without the finished work on the cross our
life would be meaningless. The Lord deserves our praise and thanksgiving
for cleansing us from our sin and delivering us from the darkness of the
enemy. Be encouraged to thank the Lord everyday for your salvation because
it cost Him everything so that you might be called Righteous. (Romans 5:17-21)
I hope today's message inspires and challenges your heart to be thankful
for your salvation and offer praise to God for saving your eternal soul.
THE BEE STING
A vacationing family drove along in their car, windows rolled down,
enjoying the warm summer breeze of the sunny day. All of a sudden a big
bumble bee darted in the window and started buzzing around inside the car.
Their little girl, highly allergic to bee stings, cringed in the back seat.
If she got stung, she could die within an hour.
“Oh, Daddy,” she squealed in terror. “It's a bee! It's going to sting me!”
The father pulled the car over to a stop, and reached back to try to catch
the bee. Buzzing around towards him, the bee bumped against the front
windshield where the father trapped it in his fist. Holding it in his
closed hand, the father waited for the inevitable sting.
The bee stung the father's hand and in pain, the father opened his hand and
showed his daughter that she had nothing left to fear.
He willingly took the sting so that his daughter would not suffer and die.

Read and meditate on these scriptures:
1 Corinthians 15:55-58 “O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy
victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus
Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always
abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is
not in vain in the Lord.”
1 John 1:8-10 “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and
the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to
forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say
that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.”
1 John 2:1-2 “My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye
sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus
Christ the righteous: And He is the propitiation for our sins: and not for
ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.”
Psalm 103:10-14 “He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us
according to our iniquities. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so
great is His mercy toward them that fear Him. As far as the east is from
the west, so far hath He removed our transgressions from us. Like as a
father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear Him. For
He knoweth our frame; He remembereth that we are dust.”
