734th -- Flowering Forth

No matter the trials or shortfalls that come our way, we should never give
up on the dreams and aspirations that were once so evident in our hearts.
We must remember that God is able to bring joy in the midst of heartache,
peace in the midst of the storm and a confident knowing that it's not the
end of the road for our life. God is able to make clean the worst of
sinners and make new all those who think it's too late for them to start
afresh. The change that Jesus Christ makes in our hearts is not only for
Eternity, but also for right here on the good Earth. Encourage yourself to
stand up again with Jesus knowing that He loves you and wishes for you to
succeed in all areas of life. Our God heals completely. With Him there is
nothing missing and nothing broken and when your life is in His hands, it
is promised to shine again and flourish in ways that you have never seen
before. (Proverbs 4:10-13) (Psalm 147:3-11) (Isaiah 54:10) (Isaiah 43:18-19)

I hope this message encourages your heart to know that it is never too late
for you to bud and come forth as a beautiful and sweet smelling flower.

FLOWERING FORTH

Consider for a moment, a tulip bulb. Withered and brown, it holds deeply
inside it a potential and beautiful new life. Miraculously, the seemingly
unattractive roundish bulb can hold safely in its core a prized flower of
pink, yellow, red or white, yet to look upon the odd-looking object in the
palm of one's hand, who would know that within such a proverbial “ugly
duckling” could exist such a brilliant “swan!” Unlike the swan though, the
bulb, if not properly nurtured with water, earth, and sunlight, will never
begin the metamorphosis it is capable of! Instead, the bulb will just sit
in a box or corner of someone's basement awaiting someone to come and
plant it.

So too, does our Heavenly Father have a gift for us just waiting to be
opened and brought forth to life! It is the gift of salvation!

Unfortunately, like the untouched tulip bulb that sits on a ledge gathering
dust, so too, do many people never come to know and experience the
beautiful blooming forth of the spirit of God in their life! As the bulb
needs sunlight and water to spring it to full existence, our spirit
requires the nourishment of the truth of God and His word to permeate the
hard, outer shell of sin that encases our hearts.

By inviting Christ in to our life, we can be transformed from a spiritual
bulb to a blooming sprout! The continual watering and nurturing of spirit
will thus provide a lovely and colorful flower that reaches ever upward
toward the radiant light of Christ, and its fragrance is indeed sweet!

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have
passed away; behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17

Read and meditate on these scriptures:

1 Chronicles 16:25-29 “For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised: He
also is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the people are
idols: but the LORD made the heavens. Glory and honour are in His presence;
strength and gladness are in His place. Give unto the LORD, ye kindreds of
the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.”

Philippians 2:9-11 “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given
Him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee
should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the
earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to
the glory of God the Father.”

Isaiah 55:6-7 “Seek ye the LORD while He may be found, call ye upon Him
while He is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man
his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and He will have mercy upon
him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.”

Romans 10:9-11 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead,
thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness;
and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture
saith, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed.”

Psalm 103:10-14 “He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us
according to our iniquities. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so
great is His mercy toward them that fear Him. As far as the east is from
the west, so far hath He removed our transgressions from us. Like as a
father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear Him. For
He knoweth our frame; He remembereth that we are dust.”

All of these scriptures can be found in the King James Version Bible.
