We should always keep in mind that the struggles we face will be used to
make us stronger, wiser and more capable than we were before. When we go
through different hardships, we should remember that God is able to bring
great results from the hardest of our struggles. We shouldn't face the
obstacles ahead of us with murmuring or complaining, but rather we should
stand tall and know that we are well equipped to handle every trial that
comes our way. The Lord first equips us to handle the problem before it
is brought before us. The Bible says in Psalm 138:8, “The Lord will
perfect that which concerns me.” (1 Corinthians 10:13) (Philippians 2:14-16)
The Lord does not wish for us to fail, but rather He wishes for us to
triumph and succeed in every area of our lives. Be encouraged and know
that the trials we face today do serve a purpose for our tomorrow. Never
think of giving up simply because the weight seems too heavy for you right
now. Stand firm and let God know that your eyes are focused on Him and
not on the burdens that you carry today. The Lord will be faithful to show
you how strong you have become because of the trials that you were
triumphant over. (Jeremiah 29:11) (Matthew 11:28-30) (2 Corinthians 4:14-18)
I hope this message ministers to your heart to never think of giving up or
giving in. Make up your mind to stand strong in the Lord and in the power
of His might. The Lord who brought you to it has promised to also bring
you through it. Trust Him.
BURDENS GIVE US WINGS - A PARABLE
An old legend relates that long ago God had a great many burdens which He
wished to have carried from one place to another on earth, so He asked the
animals to lend a hand. But all of them began to make excuses for not
helping: the elephant was too dignified; the lion, too proud; and so on.
Finally the birds came to God and said, “If you will tie the burdens into
small bundles, we'll be glad to carry them for you. We are small, but we
would like to help.”
So God fastened upon the back of each one a small bundle, and they all set
out walking across the plain to their destination. They sang as they went,
and did not seem to feel the weight of their burdens at all. Every day the
burdens seemed lighter and lighter, until the loads seem to be lifting the
birds, instead of the birds carrying the burdens.
When they arrived at their destination, they discovered that when they
removed their loads, there were wings in their place, wings which enabled
them to fly to the sky and the tree tops.
They had learned how to carry their burdens, and their loads had become
wings to carry them nearer to God.
The burdens we carry for others may become wings of the spirit, to lift us
into happiness such as we have never known.

Read and meditate on these scriptures:
2 Corinthians 12:8-10 “For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it
might depart from me. And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for
thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore
will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest
upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in
necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I
am weak, then am I strong.”
Hebrews 12:1-3 “...Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so
easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before
us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the
Joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is
set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him that
endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, lest ye be wearied
and faint in your minds.”
Jeremiah 29:11-13 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith
the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Then shall ye call upon Me, and ye shall go and pray unto Me, and I will
hearken unto you. And ye shall seek Me, and find Me, when ye shall search
for Me with all your heart.”
Philippians 3:13-14 “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but
this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching
forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the
prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
