No matter what is going wrong around us, we can still be at peace because
the Prince of peace Jesus Christ has promised that all will be well if we
stayed focused on Him. It doesn't matter what problem tries to bring down
our spirits because if we react in the correct manner, then nothing will
be able to steal our joy. It is all in our perspective. How we look at a
situation will determine how we handle it. We can either be overwhelmed
and question our ability or we can stay in peace and know that with God's
help we can overcome anything that comes our way. We must have faith that
the visible problem before us is subject to change by the invisible answers
that we are believing for. That's what faith is; believing for what we
can't physically see right now. (Isaiah 26:3) (Mark 9:23) (Hebrews 11:1)
We must stay in peace, have faith and believe that everything will work to
our benefit because we love God and are called according to His purposes.
Be encouraged to believe that your answers are on the way. Do not allow
yourself to murmur and complain about how tough life is, but rather use
that energy to praise God and to let Him know that you are staying in peace
no matter what comes your way. Let your faith speak volumes towards your
problems and you will see miracles take place in your life. That's how I
live my life, by faith, and God has yet to let me down. He is faithful to
do the same for you. (Romans 8:28) (Numbers 14:26-30) (Romans 1:17)
I hope this message encourages and challenges your heart to let your light
shine regardless of what you're going through. Allow yourself to be at
peace in God and you will see many things change in your favor.
DAYS OF LIGHT
I love this time of year. The long days are always so full of light. It
starts in the morning when the sun rises quietly over the far hill and
knocks gently on my window to wake me up. It continues as I walk my dogs
outside and watch the pink and purple clouds slowly turn to gold. The
light continues all day long too, kissing the growing plants and
brightening up the hearts of playing children and happy adults alike. Even
the biggest clouds can’t keep the sun back for long. It bursts through
with huge, glowing sunbeams wide enough for Heaven’s angels to slide down
them. When it finally does set at the end of the day it leaves with a
beauty that no Earthly painter could ever match. Even then, though, the
light continues. Soon the moon and stars begin to shine in the warm summer
night then hundreds of fireflies join in blinking on and off in their
light show of love. It is a glorious sight to see.
As beautiful as this Summer light is, however, it still can’t compare to
the soul light that I see everyday. This light burns just as brightly in
the Winter too. I see it shining from my youngest son’s smile and hear it
in my oldest son’s laugh. It glows warmly in my daughter’s eyes and it
leaps out from the words of an inspiring book. It travels from soul to
soul on the laughter, prayers, gentle words, and caring hearts of friends,
family, neighbors, and even strangers. It sails on the winds of good
deeds, encouragement, and loving kindness. It sings in our music, shines
in our thoughts, and brightens every part of our lives. It connects us
with Heaven.
May all of your days be full of light. May the sun shine down on you and
may your own soul shine within you. May God’s light and love live through
you even when the world around you seems dark. May you always “Let your
light shine before others.” Remember, we are all Children of God, Children
of Love, and Children of Light. Let’s always shine bright.

Read and meditate on these scriptures:
Galatians 6:1-4 “Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are
spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering
thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Bear ye one another's burdens, and so
fulfil the law of Christ. For if a man think himself to be something, when
he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. But let every man prove his own work,
and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.”
1 John 3:16-18 “Hereby perceive we the love of God, because He laid down
His life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But
whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth
up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed
and in truth.”
1 Corinthians 12:26-28 “And whether one member suffer, all the members
suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular. And God hath set
some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers,
after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments,
diversities of tongues.”
1 John 4:10-12 “Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved
us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God
so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at
any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and His love is
perfected in us.”
