Once I was a prisoner to crack
But Jesus gave me my life back,
I believed I had reached the end
But God said, my Spirit I send,

Crack had me heading for hell
But Jesus' dying for me showed me all was well.
I could have died hooked on crack
But God's salvation set me on track.

My soul would have been lost in sin
But God's mercy told me I could win,
The devil thought crack would destroy me
But the power of God set me free.

So the gates of hell and the devil's deceit
Through prayer and faith I keep under my feet,
I thank God for His love and deliverance
For now I live with God's loving assurance.
