107th -- Message On Thanksgiving

I thank the Lord for these great days that we are living in. While I was
praising the Lord for His goodness and mercy, I felt Him impress upon my
heart to write a message about the power of Praise and Thanksgiving instead
of wasting our time in worrying over life's troubles. The gospel of Christ
is not translated as doom and gloom but the gospel of Jesus Christ does
translates as Good News. There is nothing in this world that should have
us worrying, but rather we are to rejoice in every aspect of life, for we
have God Almighty on our side who holds heaven and earth in the palms of
His hands.

The Bible declares to rejoice always and in everything give thanks unto the
Lord for His many blessings. A merry heart will bring you long life, but
listening to the enemy's lies encouraging you to worry and complain will
steal your Joy and cut your life span and rob the precious years that God
wishes for you to thrive in. Jesus says, "Which of you by worrying can add
one inch to your height or one day to your life?" There is no reason to
waste your time in worrying, but there are a million reasons to put your
trust in God and see the deliverance that He will bring forth to all to
trust in Him. (1 Thessalonians 5:18) (Luke 12:22-26)

I have seen many people waste the time God has given them fighting and
complaining over such small things and will go days and even months upset
over that situation and in turn will feel down and depressed. A fact I
have learned is that if you don't feel good emotionally and spiritually
then you will not feel good physically. Mental pain and anguish that
comes from worrying will steal your Joy and keep you in bondage where you
will not see the goodness of the Lord; but when you make up your mind and
say "I will not worry about anything, for my God is able to deliver me
from every problem or situation". You are in fact binding the enemy from
causing you further pain and giving God the right to intercede and remove
every yoke of bondage. (Matthew 16:19)

Jesus says "Come unto me and I will give you rest." We have to make a
conscious decision to come to the Lord and allow Him to correct every wrong
that is in our life. God promises that once we trust in Him and not in
ourselves; He will heal our sick bodies, bless us in our financial
situations and redeem us from the sins that kept us in bondage all those
years that we trusted in our own wisdom. (Matthew 11:28-30) (Psalm 103:2-4)

I encourage and challenge you to not waste your time worrying and
complaining about the things that you don't have, but thank and praise the
Lord for the things that you do have, like eyes to see and ears to hear.
Thank the Lord for your feet that enable you to walk and for your hands
that enable you to feed and groom yourself. Yes, there are things you can
complain about for not having, but I believe there are many many more
things that we can praise and thank God for that we do have.

In the midst of a problem that will cause your physical being to worry, I
encourage you to take on the mentality to give every problem to God and be
diligent in proclaiming God's promises in thanksgiving. Say "I will be the
head and not the tail, above only and not beneath." Say, "God is able to
do exceedingly abundantly above all that I can ask or even think and I make
up my mind to not worry about anything, but I cast all my burdens on God
and He will sustain me." (Deuteronomy 28:13) (Ephesians 3:20) (Psalm 55:22)

Praise and Thanksgiving is more powerful then you will ever know and once
you receive the revelation that "No weapon formed against you shall
prosper", the quicker you will begin to praise God; for you will see that
every problem and every situation that had you worried will be taken care
of by The Great I AM.

Read and meditate on these scriptures:

Psalm 103:2-5 "Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:
Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems
your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender
mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is
renewed like the eagle's."

2 Samuel 22:29-33 "For You are my lamp, O Lord; The Lord shall enlighten
my darkness. For by You I can run against a troop; By my God I can leap
over a wall. As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is
proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him. For who is God, except
the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God? God is my strength and power,
And He makes my way perfect."

Joshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do
not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever
you go."

Philippians 4:4-7 "Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!
Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious
for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with
thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God,
which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through
Christ Jesus."

Psalm 100:1-5 "Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the
Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. Know that the
Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are
His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with
thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and
bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His
truth endures to all generations."

All scriptures can be found in the New King James Version.
