317th -- Broken Fall

The sacrifice that the Lord Jesus Christ made for mankind was one of
unbelievable love. The Lord loved humanity so greatly that He willingly
chose to become our sacrificial lamb to die in our stead to redeem us from
our sins. We are to recognize and remember how great a cost it was so that
you and I might become the righteousness of God. There is nothing that we
personally could ever do to earn our salvation. The Bible is very clear
that salvation comes only through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.
In Him lays our salvation, our peace, our Joy, our health, and in Heaven a
home built just for you by the Master. Rejoice in this priceless gift that
is freely offered to all who will receive which is called Salvation.
(Acts 20:26-28) (Hebrews 9:11-22) (Ephesians 2:8-9) (Acts 4:12)

I hope you are blessed and encouraged by this simple story.

BROKEN FALL

A number of years ago a lighthouse was being built on the rock-bound coast
of Wales. When the building was nearly completed, one of the workmen
stumbled and fell back through the scaffolding to the rocks below.

The other workmen, shocked at what had taken place, did not dare to look
down for fear of being unnerved at the sight. Heavyhearted, they backed
down the ladders. But to their surprise and joy they saw their fellow
workman lying upon a tuft of grass, shaken and shocked, bruised to be sure,
but not seriously harmed. Beside him lay a dead lamb. A flock of sheep had
been wandering by, and a lamb had broken his fall.

We need to realize that The True Lamb has broken our fall and has defeated
death for us!

By George Vandeman

Never believe the lie that you are beyond redemption. The Lord Jesus Christ
conquered sin once and for all and now whosoever shall call upon the name
of the Lord shall be saved. There is no sin so deep that God's love is not
deeper still. Be encouraged and know that God loves you greatly. He has
purchased your salvation with His own blood and with open arms He welcomes
you into His kingdom to be with Him for all eternity. (Revelation 3:20)

Read and meditate on these scriptures:

John 3:16-17
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten
Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have
everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the
world; but that the world through Him might be saved."

Romans 10:9-11 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead,
thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness;
and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture
saith, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed."

Hebrews 9:11-12 "But Christ being come an high priest of good things to
come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that
is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves,
but by His own blood He entered in once into the holy place, having
obtained eternal redemption for us."

Revelation 1:5-8 "...Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in
His own blood, And hath made us kings and priests unto God and His Father;
to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. Behold, He cometh
with clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him:
and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen.

am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending,
saith the Lord, which is,
and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty."

All of these scriptures can be found in the King James Version Bible.
