Heather Eckles' Testimony

On October 6, 1998 I hit my head and got a concussion. I experienced
blurred vision, double vision, nausea, lack of equilibrium, loss of
memory, etc. Before the accident I was doing high school curriculum and
looking toward college. After, I was back to doing 1st grade schoolwork.
I was highly disappointed and many times I questioned God to see why I
was in this situation.

I was always reminded by my parents and my church that God is always
there and that He would help me through this time. A few months after,
I had to start doing schoolwork again. It took a while, but I was able
to do simple math again. Than toward the end of 1999, I remember praying
to God.. pouring out my heart to Him. Telling Him that I couldn't
get through this with out His help. Slowly, I was able to continue on
with my schoolwork.

In December of 1999, I started to complete school books in record time.
My family was amazed at how quickly I had healed. In January of 2000 I
had a breakthrough. I started to do things that were on and above my
9th grade status. This Spring, thanks to God, I will be attending
Community College of Allegheny County. He taught me a lot through this
time. More about Him and His mercy and grace. I'm so thankful that God
has brought me through to the other side so, that I can tell of His
awesome wonders!
