1134th -- Message On Speaking The Right Words

There are many moments in life when we say things in haste without really
thinking them through. We say things like “I hate my job, my children
won't act right, my home is a mess, I'm too overweight, my health keeps
failing, my spouse doesn't treat me right, I'll never get married, I am
miserable, I am depressed, I'll never be happy” and the list can go on.
What we must realize is that when we verbalize our negative thoughts, we
are giving life to what we say. We are sowing our own negative words into
our own life that will take root in our hearts and bring forth a harvest
of cursings over our life. We must be conscious to what we say so that
our own words will be used for our benefit and betterment and not for our
own downfall and demise.

No matter how you may feel today, I encourage and challenge you to speak
good words over your life and the lives of those around you. Do not allow
the negative thoughts to become negative words, but rather change your
mindset and be determined to speak overcoming and authoritative words of
blessings, affirmations and encouragements. Talk to yourself in a positive
way. Say to yourself “I am wonderful, I am blessed, I am overcoming in
every way, my children will be blessed going in and coming out, my spouse
is my best friend and the love of my life, my health is getting better
every day in every way and I am God's beautiful creation.” Whether we
realize it or not, our words deeply affect our own life and that is why we
should be conscious of them and speak the right words at all times.

What you are doing when you speak authoritative and overcoming words of
victory is not some kind of pseudo-mind trick; it is a command of God to
call things that are not as though they were. You are using your faith to
believe for what your eyes can't see right now. That is the actual
biblical definition of faith. We read this in Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is
the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” We
use our faith to our advantage to call the things that we don't currently
see as though we are seeing them right now. That's why I believe the
Bible says in Joel chapter 3 to “let the weak say they are strong.” They
may not be strong right now, but if they hear themselves say it loud
enough and long enough, they will believe it and they will stand in it.
It is the same thing for every other area of our life. We must say it
even though we don't currently see it. (Romans 4:17) (Joel 3:10)

I encourage you again to see past your current circumstances. Don't
believe that the end is near. Don't believe that your best has passed you
by. Believe that your future is so blessed and bright that you're going
to need sunglasses because it is too much to take in. Speak words that
will be to your betterment and not to your downfall. Believe God's Word
and trust in His everlasting promise that He will never leave you nor
forsake you. Stand tall, stand strong and stand sure that your ending
will be far greater than you had ever thought or imagined for yourself not
because you are able, but because God is able enough for you to meet your
every need. Speak it, believe it and live it until you see it. That is
my prayer for you.

Read and meditate on these scriptures:

Matthew 12:36-37 Jesus declares
“But I say unto you, That every idle word
that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of
judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou
shalt be condemned.”

Psalm 34:1-4 “I will bless the LORD at all times: His praise shall
continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the
humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify the LORD with me, and
let us exalt His name together. I sought the LORD, and He heard me, and
delivered me from all my fears.”

Isaiah 40:28-29 “Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the
everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth
not, neither is weary? there is no searching of His understanding. He
giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increaseth
strength.”

Psalm 34:17-19 “The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth
them out of all their troubles. The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a
broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Many are the
afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.”

Psalm 103:1-5 “Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless
His holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits:
Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who
redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness
and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy
youth is renewed like the eagle's.”

All of these scriptures can be found in the King James Version Bible.

I believe the anointing of God is on my life to bless His people with the
words that He gives me. That's why I am always quick to give the Lord all
the Glory, Honor and Praise for the great things He is doing with my life
and this ministry. Without the Lord's gracious leading, this work would
not have continued on for all these years. May the Lord be magnified!
