Something that we should always remember and keep in mind is that we will always have good days and bad days. We will never reach a point in our life where we will be trouble-free because the Lord Jesus has already forewarned us that in this world we will have tribulation, but right after He reassured us to be of good cheer because He has overcome the world for us. So while we are in the midst of struggle, we have to see with our eyes of faith that all will be well with us in the end. We should never become so fearsome that we dread our coming days, but rather we should look forward to each new day knowing that it will serve a purpose in making us better, wiser and stronger than we were the day before. If we allow ourselves to, we will learn the lessons that every trial brings and that will make us stronger in our tomorrow's to come. (John 16:33) (Job 14:1)
No matter what you may be going through at this time, I want you to stay strong, stay in faith, stay confident in God's ability to use that situation for your betterment now and in your future to come. Don't worry about the trial, don't fret your circumstance, but with a quiet confidence lift up your voice of praise and give God thanks that He will work all things together for your good. Always remember that God loves you and wishes for you to be the head and not the tail, to be above only and not beneath, to be the lender and not the borrower, but we must do our part and stay in faith no matter what may come our way. Our confession must be that we are victors and not victims, that we are mighty in God's strength and that nothing can come our way to make us lose our peace or make us question God's purpose and plan for our life. (Romans 8:28) (Deuteronomy 28:13)
I encourage you to start each new day giving God thanks and praise for every gift and blessing that He has bestowed upon your life. Think of the many times that you have overcome your past trials and tribulations and give God thanks for the victories in your past, present and future to come. I believe when we see our glass as half-full and not half empty, it will be easy for us to have a positive outlook on our life and that our coming days will also reflect the same positive picture. I pray that your outlook on life matches what God says and thinks about you in His Word and that each new day that you encounter will be used to make you better than you were the day before. (Psalm 34:1-10) (Jeremiah 29:11-13)
I hope this message inspires and challenges your heart to use the lessons that come your way to your benefit and to your betterment.
A WET WALK
A walk with my boys got cut short the other day. We had been out for just a little while when suddenly the sky turned gray, the wind picked up, and thunder started to roll in from the clouds. We headed back quickly as the drops started to fall. The rain chased us down the trail and soon caught us. We tried to hide for a moment laughing under a sweet smelling Pine tree, but it was no use. We were soon soaked to the bone. It didn’t bother us, however. After we got home we dried off and watched happily as the clouds poured some much needed water on the thirsty forest around our home. A short while later the sun broke through the clouds again and brightened the Earth with its golden glow. I smiled, stepped out on the porch, and let it shine on my face too. I could feel its warmth and smell the wonderful scent of thousands of well watered leaves. I laughed again while God’s love, joy, and light filled my soul. What a glorious day it had been.
I am amazed at how often and in how many ways God is able to touch our hearts, souls, and minds. Every day we get new learning, new growth, and new love. Every day we get new experiences that help us to bring a little more Heaven into our lives. Every day God finds new ways to enlighten us no matter how cloudy our world may seem.
He used that wonderful, wet walk the other day to remind me that life isn’t only sunny days. Just like nature sometimes we need to get rained on a bit in order to grow. He also reminded me that the best way to handle anything in life is with simple humor and joy. The sound of laughter goes equally well with a delightful walk in the summer sunshine and with a brisk run through the rain in soaked clothes. He reminded me most of all, though, that no matter how long the storms of life may last the sun will always come out again. Have a glorious day then and remember that God is always with you in the sunshine and in the rain.

Read and meditate on these scriptures:
Hebrews 4:14-16 “Seeing then that we have a Great High Priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an High Priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”
Psalm 20:6-7 “Now know I that the LORD saveth His anointed; He will hear him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.”
Isaiah 40:28-29 “Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of His understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increaseth strength.”
Psalm 34:17-19 “The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.”
