215th -- Unless The Corn Die

I thank the Lord for His continued leading with this ministry. I do give
God all the Glory, Honor and Praise for the great things He is doing with
Gods Work Ministry around the world. If it were not for the leading and
anointing of the Holy Spirit, I know this work would be completely in vain.
I do thank the Lord that He has kept His hand upon this work and I also
thank Him because He has kept me focused in doing the work that He has
called me to do. There is no better place to be than in God's perfect will
and that is what I wanted today's message to focus upon. (Isaiah 42:8-9)
(Zechariah 4:6) (1 John 2:27)

Many times in life we are unknowingly pulled into the world's system which
causes us to focus more on worldly success instead of Heavenly Success. It
is very important that we stay focused on God's plans and conscious to the
fact that we have a destiny to fulfill. The enemy of hell loves to
sidetrack God's people with worldly ambitions that will not have any
significance when we enter into Eternity. I hope today's message will
inspire and challenge your heart to focus on your eternal successes and the
great plans God has in store for you to fulfill. (2 Corinthians 10:2-5)
(Jeremiah 29:11) (Luke 12:14-21)

UNLESS THE CORN DIE

Years ago a minister in Iowa went home from a service for dinner with a
wealthy farmer. This man, though not a Christian, was moral and upright.
As they entered the house from the rear through a shed, the minister
noticed several bushels of corn twisted together by the husks and hung from
the open rafters. The farmer pointed out to the minister the finest seed
corn he had ever raised. Said the preacher: "If I were you, I would always
keep that corn there. You will never get any more like it."

"You must think I'm a fool," said the farmer. "I must plant that corn or
I'll have no more crop." And the preacher rejoined: "That corn is like
yourself. I never knew a man so rich in natural endowments as you. If
something would only happen to let the seed of your life be planted, be
buried, you would grow greatly and be so useful to God and humanity!"

Months later the minister received a call to visit the farmer. The old
farmer surprised him by saying, "Glory to God! The seed corn has been
planted." He related gladly how it happened. He had been currying a mule
when the mule let both heels fly at him, cutting open his face with a
sharp-shod hoof. The injured man got on his knees and surrendered to God.
"And now," said he, "I want to make my life yield a harvest for Him."

Our life can be compared to the corn seed in this story. If the corn seeds
aren't planted in the ground, then they will never become what they were
ultimately created for. The corn seeds must first die to themselves and
take on their new figure which God has planned on beforehand. It is the
same thing concerning our life. If we only live for ourselves, then we are
not being productive towards the kingdom of God. If our only object in life
is to watch out for our best interest and to make sure that we're okay,
then the seed of our life is never going to be planted and changed into the
living manifestation of a useful tool for God to use.
(John 12:24) (1 Corinthians 15:36-39) (Colossians 3:2-3) (Romans 12:6-8)

I encourage you to seek the Lord with all of your heart if you want to be
used for God's kingdom. When we die to ourselves and say, "God here am I,
Send me"; we are giving God the green light to bring to pass every plan
that He had in mind when He first created us. We need to understand that
God is a gentleman and will not impose His will upon anyone unless we first
seek and ask for it. If God ordered us around, then we would not have a
free will to choose and that would make us just like a robot. I encourage
you to live your life fully for the glory of God and ask Him to make your
life meaningful so that when you stand before Him on Judgement Day, you
will not have any regrets of the time that you spent on the earth.
(Jeremiah 29:11-14) (Isaiah 6:8) (Revelation 20:11-13)

Read and meditate on these scriptures:

Matthew 6:19-21 Jesus declares
"Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon
earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through
and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither
moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor
steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."

John 12:23-26 Jesus declares
"…The hour is come, that the Son of man should
be glorified. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall
into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth
much fruit. He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his
life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. If any man serve Me,
let him follow Me; and where I am, there shall also My servant be: if any
man serve Me, Him will My Father honour."

2 Timothy 4:5-8 "But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the
work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. For I am now ready
to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a
good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth
there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the
righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto
all them also that love His appearing."

Revelation 22:12-14 Jesus declares
"And, behold, I come quickly; and my
reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am
Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
Blessed
are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of
life, and may enter in through the gates into the city."

All scriptures can be found in the King James Version.
