267th -- The Incomparable Christ

The Lord Jesus Christ is alive and well and has everything under control.
There isn't anything that can take God by surprise, so I encourage you to
rest in Him and know that all is well. The scriptures declare that there
is no height high enough or no depth deep enough that can separate us from
the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. He is all we need and
so be encouraged in the Lord and know that He loves you and is alive and
well-able to meet every need in your life. (Isaiah 49:13-16) (Romans 8:39)

This is a great message that had my spirit rejoicing in the Lord. I pray
this message encourages you to continually look to the Lord Jesus Christ.
He came to earth to die for our sins, but the good news is He rose from the
grave and is alive forevermore. (Revelation 1:18)

THE INCOMPARABLE CHRIST

Almost two thousand years ago there was a Man born contrary to the laws of
life. This Man lived in poverty and was reared in obscurity. He did not
travel extensively. Only once did He cross the boundary of the country in
which He lived; that was during His childhood exile.

He possessed neither wealth nor influence. His relatives were inconspicuous
and He had neither training nor formal education. In infancy, He startled a
king; in childhood, He puzzled doctors; in manhood, He ruled the course of
nature, walked upon the billows as if pavement, and hushed the sea to sleep.

He healed the multitudes without medicine and made no charge for His service.

He never wrote a book, and yet all the libraries of the country could not
hold the books that have been written about Him.

He never wrote a song and yet He has furnished the theme for more than all
the songwriters combined. He never founded a college, but all the schools
put together cannot boast of having as many students. He never practiced
medicine, and yet He has healed more broken hearts than all the doctors
far and near.

Every seventh day the wheels of commerce cease their turning and multitudes
wend their way to worshiping assemblies to pay homage and respect to Him.

The names of the past proud statesman of Greece and Rome have come and
gone. The names of past scientists, philosophers, and theologians have
come and gone; but the name of this Man abounds more and more. Though time
has spread two thousand years between the people of this generation and
the scene of His crucifixion, yet He still lives.

Herod could not destroy Him, and the grave could not hold Him.

He stands in Heavenly Glory, proclaimed of God, as the living, personal
Christ, our Lord and Saviour.

As long as the Lord is in control of our lives, there shouldn't be anything
that should have us worrying or contemplating what our future holds. The
Apostle Paul says, "To live is Christ and to die is gain." I encourage you
to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Don't allow the
news of this world to make you fear or worry about your future. God has
everything under control and is allowing His prophecies to come to pass
right before our eyes. Remember, Jesus said when these things begin to come
to pass (wars, persecutions, famines, etc.) then look up, and lift up your
heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. (Philippians 1:21) (Luke 21:20-36)

Be encouraged and know that God has not forgotten you. He has given us the
privilege to be the generation to see Him coming in the clouds of Heaven.
Rejoice in the Lord and never allow this world's problems to make you
forget about your eternal home. This world and the problems associated
with it are only temporary, but the world coming is one without problems
and will last for all eternity. (Matthew 24:29-31) (Mark 13:24-27) (John 16:33)

Read and meditate on these scriptures:

Psalm 91:1-4 "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall
abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my
refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust. Surely He shall
deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou
trust: His truth shall be thy shield and buckler."

Romans 8:35-39 "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall
tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or
peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day
long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things
we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. For I am persuaded,
that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers,
nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any
other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is
in Christ Jesus our Lord."

John 14:1-3 Jesus says
"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God,
believe also in Me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not
so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and
prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself;
that where I am, there ye may be also."

Psalm 91:14-16 "Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I
deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known My name. He
shall call upon Me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and
shew him My salvation."
