My testimony is rather short but significant still. In graduate school one of the prerequisites before
graduating was to take a comprehensive exam could have included anything one had learned in
any of 22 classes taken over a course of two years. No pressure huh?
I spent over a month studying my notes and reading old textbooks to prepare for the big day. The
morning of the exam when I awake my eyeballs ached, and my joints hurt really bad; accompanied
by watery eyes and a congested nose and chest. I thought "Lord can't You just postpone this little
sickness until this evening?" "I have to take this test or I will Not graduate!
I hobbled out of bed and it came to me to begin chanting "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and
lean not unto thine own understanding." I inched over to the bathroom and slid into the shower all
the while chanting to myself...."Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own
understanding." When I got out the shower my aches subsided some and my chest congestion
was gone. So of course I chanted harder! "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto
thine own understanding."
I got to the test building with pencils, earplugs, pen and family size tissue box in tow to take my test.
I typed the whole four hours and finished ten minutes before the deadline. Needless to say I passed
with flying colors and graduated the next month with honors. So remember "Trust in the Lord with
all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding." (Scripture found in Proverbs 3:5-6)
